Overview:

Is your internal monologue friendly? Calm, encouraging, and supportive of your wellbeing? Or is it critical? Full of shame and bullying? How we speak to ourselves matters. Researcher and psychologist Dr. Kristin Neff notes, “People are realizing that of course it would be helpful to have an inner friend rather than an inner enemy.” Join us and learn practical steps to tune into your internal voice and meet it with compassion.

Course Objectives:

By the end of the session, the participant will be able to:

  • Identify three main elements of compassion.
  • Differentiate between the myths and truths of self-compassion from the perspective of top researchers.
  • Apply multiple hands-on skills to improve self-compassion.
