Overview:
In this 1-hour course, you will be guided on a journey inward to discover your deeper purpose and joy that fuels you from within. By exploring the connection between your mind and body, you’ll learn how to better understand and manage emotions, strengthen resilience, and build lasting inner peace.
Together, we’ll explore how the limbic system influences your emotional responses and how practical techniques such as naming your emotions, identifying what lies beneath them, and using pranayama breathing can help release tension and restore balance. You will also learn how managing emotions enables you to activate the prefrontal cortex, the part of the brain responsible for focus, clarity, and wise decision-making.
This session will also help you recognize what is and isn’t within your control. While the outer world cannot always be changed, you can transform your inner world by choosing how you think, feel, and act. By letting go of “unenforceable rules” about how life should be, you’ll step into greater peace, resilience, and freedom. The skills and strategies helping professionals will learn, will be easily transferable to use with their clients.
