OVERVIEW:

This advanced training is designed for seasoned telemental health professionals seeking to deepen their expertise across clinical, ethical, legal, and technological domains. Moving beyond foundational concepts, the session equips clinicians to confidently manage high-risk situations, navigate complex multistate legal landscapes, and ethically integrate emerging technologies into practice. Through real-world case scenarios, interactive labs, and applied decision-making models, participants will gain hands-on experience in addressing nuanced dilemmas in telemental health. Special emphasis will be placed on serving diverse populations, ethical crisis response, digital boundary setting, and staying ahead of policy shifts in a post-COVID era. Participants will leave prepared to lead in the evolving digital behavioral health ecosystem.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Use evidence-based adaptations of clinical modalities in telemental health, with attention to diverse and high-risk populations.

PRESENTER BIO:

Christian Deck, MSW, LCSW, CTMH, Senior Lecturer, Indiana University School of Social Work

Christian is a senior lecturer at the Indiana University School of Social Work and co-owner of VibeWell Connect, a telehealth company. He teaches and researchers in the areas of telebehavioral health practice, distance education, and the use of Al in social work practice and education. He utilizes e-simulations designed to enhance student clinical practice skills in a virtual setting. He is interested in enhancing e-social work distance education through program development and technology design, as well as utilizing technology-based interventions within clinical social work.

This live webinar is fully interactive. Attendees may ask and answer questions throughout the presentation and participate in instructor-led discussions. A computer or mobile device is required. Zoom account is not required.

You will receive a reminder email approximately 24 hours prior to the start of the training and a link to join the webinar will be in your CEU Creations account under Member Profile.

To receive credit, you must log in on time, attend the entire presentation, and complete an online evaluation.

POST EVENT: When the training ends, your attendance will be processed using zoom analytics. Once processed, the evaluation link will be available in your account and should be completed within 3 days of the training.
