ODL 252: The Family Caregiver: An Asset to Professional Caregivers

1 Credit Hour: Perhaps it was the pandemic, perhaps it is just long overdue, but people are realizing the need to talk about, plan, and prepare for their own death and that of a loved one. People are clamoring for guidance, a safe space to discuss, and more than just tropes and platitudes on this ubiquitous reality, yet most professionals are unsure and intimidated by death and grief as topics therefore unable to really come through. This course features Jennifer O’Brien, better known as The Hospice Doctor’s Widow, reviewing the very important role of caregivers at the end-of-life.
