ODL 390: Understanding and Integrating Client Spiritual Background and Worldview

5 Credit Hours: In this 5-hour training, we will restore client spiritual background and worldview as an essential piece of client understanding and framework for care.  From spiritual trauma to strong convictions, to disparities and barriers experienced by some populations, understanding the spiritual background of clients can deepen client conceptualization and improve outcomes. Through case studies, discussion, and interactive components, we will engage in a fresh approach to ethically and competently understand and integrate a client’s spiritual beliefs, background, practices, and worldview into ongoing care.
