This training provides foundational context related to trauma, PTSD, and culturally relevant considerations when supporting individuals in these communities. Participants will learn the three Es of trauma-informed care, review the stages of trauma and recovery, and explore practical ways to use this knowledge to build safety, trust, and supportive therapeutic relationships. The emphasis is on culturally aware practice that honors lived experience and supports healing.
