ODL 403: Leading Through Communication: Building Stronger Leaders Through Strengths-based Communication and Organizational Awareness

5 Credit Hours: Grounded in systems theory and strengths-based practice, this training explores how organizational culture, power dynamics, and “unwritten rules” shape patterns of communication and conflict in human service settings. The training will focus on developing practical, ethically grounded strategies for giving and receiving feedback, addressing conflict at both individual and systems levels, and building equity, transparency, and trust within teams. Through guided reflection and an individualized leadership development plan, participants will leave with concrete tools to strengthen their leadership presence and support healthier, more resilient organizational cultures in alignment with professional standards of practice.
