ODL 425: A Comprehensive Overview of Diagnosing & Treating OCD

6 Credit Hours: This training will review the diagnostic criteria for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), paying special attention to the main characteristics of obsessions and compulsions. Case studies will present different etiologies of OCD and encourage learners to engage in differential diagnosis and case conceptualization. Learners will discover assessment procedures that elicit core symptomology. CBT and ERP will be presented as the preferred evidenced-based approaches to treating this disorder, and learners will define proper treatment approaches and interventions.
