ODL 436: Integrating Social Justice into Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT)

1 Credit Hour: This training supports child-centered play therapists in thoughtfully integrating social justice into their clinical work with children and families. We will explore how culture, identity, power, and systemic stressors show up in the playroom and influence children’s emotional and relational experiences. Through case examples and practical strategies, participants will learn how to remain grounded in CCPT while more intentionally honoring children’s lived experiences and supporting emotional safety, empowerment, and connection in therapy.
